TC Unit Necessities
Funded Aug 3, 2024This could not have come at a better time! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! After all the years I've been a TA in Self Contained, my journey has led here to me leading a classroom of my own. We are sincerely low on resources for me to make file folder activities and task boxes that are differentiated to my kids' needs and to revamp the program where we are targeting IEP goals and increasing classroom engagement. I am so excited to use these resources to build those activities and it wouldn't have gotten off the ground without you! Thank you and be blessed!”

Block Party Friendship Bracelets
Funded Dec 11, 2023I was unable to provide pictures documenting the big day that our students were able to touch and open the kits to make their bracelets, but it was truly a great experience to be a part of. I thought that making bracelets that my generation treasured fizzled out! When it was the day of the block party, all of the students from each Academy bolted to our table to make friendship bracelets! I am glad to know that this experience can continue to impact our new generation of students. Even when lines were long, and wait times were astronomically high, an interesting thing happened, and students would initiate making bracelets themselves, and would go around helping others start theirs. I even witnessed a few of the children I served in Special Services make new friends that day, and nothing makes my heart skip a beat more than seeing inclusivity among the student body, and seeing the kids I serve the most get their social needs met successfully.
I truly cherished the small moments I saw in the Block Party, and I know that the kids enjoyed it as well! They even made teachers a bracelet when they were struggling. We have our next series of block parties during the final week of school, and we will continue to foster connection amongst students as they close out the year with your donation. Thank you again for your help, and providing such a great activity for our students to do!”

Funded Mar 4, 2024Thank you so much for your donation. It is hard to find toiletries to keep our pantry running, and I am so grateful for your willingness to help us out, especially as a first year leader in this position! Thank you for supplying the resources our little community thrives on and for contributing in a way that molds our students into future leaders themselves!”
