  Thank you so much for the impact you have made on my students. A lot of the students have lunch at 1:15, and some get here at 7:30, so it is hard to go 6 hours without eating. Your donations have allowed me to give healthy snacks to my students.

  The students are very appreciative. Sometimes I give snacks out as rewards to the group he gets the work done correctly 1st. Sometimes i just give them snacks for completing the work. Either way, the snacks are a great motivational tool

  I was suprised how much the students enjoy the healthy snacks. Often they choose a healthier fruit snack to candy! This will keep them both nourished and healthy.

• Help My Students Pass the AP Precalculus Exam!

  I am beyond grateful for your support. My students have never taken an Advanced Placement course before, and these study guides have been super helpful. I assign things from it each week.

  Sometimes I assign practice questions. Sometimes I have them read explanations of things I have taught. Some students said, "I like how this book explained it better than how you did!" Great!!! Everybody learns different, which is why having resources like this is so essential.

  My students take the AP exam on May 13th. Thanks to your generous donation, I am confident many will pass the exam.”

• Whiteboard Easels For Math Group Work!

  Funded May 8, 2024

  You cannot imagine how much of a help these easels have been.

  We recently transitioned to our new temporary home, an old elementary school. I have very little whiteboard space.

  By having these 4 easels, I can display work for students in different parts of the room. I can give different assignments to each group. I can also display my objective and standards throughout the room.

  An even greater benefit has been how much the students love using them. Never before have students said, "Can we do group work?" They love showing off their work on the whiteboards, and they like to race to see which group can get the correct answer the quickest.

  I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the remarkable support you provided to the students of Eastside High School through your donations for the School Supplies.

  Your generosity has made a significant impact on the lives of our students. Students having access to pencils and dry erase markers make math lessons go smoothly. I have had students work in group and solve problems on white boards with the dry erase markers donated. Students seem to be more engaged when we do this method, and learn better.
