  • Black History Is American History, Help My Students Learn More!

    Thanks for your support for this project for teaching quality Black History. I do not ever want to just ignore or have a "lesser" Black History Month for my students.

    All students always have multiple opportunities to learn something new about Black History. Whether it is a daily bulletin board that displays images and information or notable quotes about black history, having students make Google slide presentations, or assemblies, the information is there. All students love receiving the Black History Month swag.

    When you have a non- Black student say to you, "Black History is American History, that has often been left out", you know you have made an impact.”
