Knowledge Is Power
Funded Dec 29, 2023My students and I are very grateful and are using the dry erase boards, markers, and erasers for whole group activities in math. My students love that they can use these items to help them solve math problems instead of the usual paper and pencil technique. I love the fact that it is less stressful than having paper and pencil where students would write so larger that they would put one problem on one piece of paper.
Here using the dry erase boards, dry erase markers, and the dry eraser with just one wipe the work is gone and it makes the work much easier and clearer for me to see. The students enjoy that they can pick their favorite color dry erase marker to use. In small groups for math while I am working with one group with these same materials, I have the other group using the same materials completing their assignments that was given. The students use these tools to work problems such as addition and subtraction with double digits with regrouping and without regrouping.
The students love the large space in working out their math problems. During small groups I allow them to work with a partner and/or buddy to work a problem out especially when I am working with another small group of students. I appreciate you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bond
