  • All About Color Code!

    Color coding their worksheets helps the students to identify patterns and process the mechanics of the language faster. It also helps identify the vocabulary and the places to concentrate efforts! When they are working by themselves I provide them with colored pens and pencils to identify specific parts of the readings, ( verbs, nouns, adjectives) will be circled in different colors. This makes the annotation process easier and happier. When I use the color markers on the board, it is easy for them to turn the questions around and analyze how to produce complete answers.

  • Headsets for ESL Students! Learning English Can Be Fun!

    Students are less apprehensive about using their Read Aloud accommodations it adds confidence and individuality, I ask them about their favorite color, and most times I can get one for them! Some of them have an assigned headset, which helps with the sanitation process. They are also more motivated because the headsets are cool! I am glad we could get some positive vibes to the schoolwork! And they are more motivated and excited every time I enter a room with the new headsets!
