Rocks are everywhere. However, what we find on the playground isn’t enough to help us be real earth scientist. Having rock samplew, gives my students an opportunity to touch, explore, smell, and describe the types of rocks that make up our planet. The variety of rocks allows every one of my kids an opportunity to work at the same time, instead of having to wait for their peers to finish. The clay is a way for them to create their own “rocks” to take home. The young scientists in my room are ready to investigate the world around us. Your donations will help create the next generation of scientist.
