Thrive, Not Survive
Funded Dec 30, 2024Thank you so much for helping my classroom! My students are going to be thrilled and this will genuinely change the way they look at learning.
This year has been incredible so far as students have been putting in more effort than ever before. I have noticed that the more I make their assignments, learning, and the classroom unique, the more they thrive. I can't wait to share an update with you. Thank you again.”
With gratitude,

Navigating Through History
Funded Jan 7, 2024We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support in providing new resources for our classroom! Your contribution has truly made a world of difference in our learning environment.
The new maps have had a remarkable impact on our students. When they first walked into the classroom with these vibrant displays, their faces lit up with excitement! (They were honestly a little shocked at first – in the best way possible!) Now, the maps are no longer just decorations. Students actively study them, referencing them throughout the day. These interactive tools have brought geography to life in a way that traditional textbooks simply cannot.
Thanks to your support, you've become a part of our classroom journey. We know you'd love to see more, and we can't wait to share our progress with you. Throughout the semester, we'll be sure to keep you updated on our exciting projects and how the new resources continue to enhance our learning experience.
Once again, thank you for your generosity. Your investment in our classroom is truly making a difference!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Tucker
This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and 10 other donors.Leveling Up
Funded Dec 12, 2023I am writing to express our deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to my (our) classroom project! Your support has made a tremendous impact on my students and their learning experience.
The new resources you helped us acquire have been a game-changer! The chips have allowed me to incorporate fun and interactive elements into my lessons, turning learning into a game they're all eager to participate in. The light boards are an absolute hit! Students use them constantly for projects, brainstorming ideas, and even during breaks to explore other subjects. It's wonderful to see their creativity and enthusiasm flourish.
Your donation goes beyond just materials; it has instilled a sense of wonder and appreciation in my students. They were all amazed to learn that people like you cared enough to support our classroom. Many were curious about the donation process, and some even wanted to help unwrap the new supplies right away! It sparked a conversation about the importance of community and giving back, which is a valuable lesson in itself.
By contributing to this project, you've gained a glimpse into the heart of our classroom. We know you'd love to hear more about what's next! As the semester progresses, we'll be diving headfirst into project-based learning. Students will be analyzing US history from the 1970s onwards, culminating in a creative project: creating a movie poster for a deleted scene from Forrest Gump – a scene they'll then film themselves! The light boards will be instrumental in planning and visualizing their ideas, and we can't wait to see their creativity shine.
Thank you again for your incredible generosity. Your support is making a lasting difference in the lives of my students, and we are truly grateful.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Tucker
