  • Wobble Stools & Unique Class Books for Diverse Learners

    Funded Jan 14, 2025

    Thanks for contributing to our classroom! Students run to science now, as they love the chance for choice-seating. Some need to play rock-paper-scissors to decide to gets the wobble stool for the day. We uses theses everyday, and it helps make our classroom one where movement, choice and fun are part of learning.

    The book binding supplies have helped me cater to my students learning needs for all the the remaining science units for the year, plus put together student-authored science books. Thanks for making our space creative, text-rich, and full of Brooklyn place-based projects, including science fair, oyster restoration, and more.”

  • Green Energy Engineers Need Snap Circuit Kits

    Funded Apr 30, 2024

    Our 7th and 8th grade engineers were able to design, test and explain prototypes of alternative energy solutions using the wind turbine and Snap Circuits kids. Teens were excited and energized in this last capstone project of the year, asking to use the Snap Circuit kits again and again. What's more, these re-usable materials will be an integral part of our Energy and the Environment unit year after year. Thanks for making an exciting, sustainable and skill-building contribution to our young future engineers!”
