Welding PPE
Funded Feb 17, 2024Thank you for your donations and getting my students 13 new welding helmets. We are currently using them to complete our 4th quarter welding project. The welding helmets have allowed my students to enjoy the proper welding experience and keep them safe from the harmful ultraviolet rays being emitted from the welding process.
When the helmets started to come to the classroom, I showed one helmet to them as a preview. They were so excited to see it, especially because of the flame decals pasted on top of the helmets. The flames stood out among the gloss black background of the helmets. The students wanted to use It right away, however I had the students wait until all 13 were shipped to us.
Next steps for the helmets is to continue to use them for upcoming projects. I've instructed the students to treat the helmets well, so they can last for the next couple of years and allow future students to use them.”
