  • Staying Focused and On Track!

    This donation has made a huge impact in my classroom. Many times I have students who are so hungry that don't come with a snack, so having them on hand is so helpful! In addition, when students do well in my class I can quickly reward them with a snack. We all love working for food! When my students are nice and filled they are able to focus more on the learning. It energizes their spirits and motivates them to do better.

    In addition, the math manipulatives have come in handy. This gives my students another way of learning new things.”

  • Hands on Learning for Math

    These materials that were donated were used instantly in my classroom. With the personal sleeve whiteboards students are able to do partner work with partners, while using markers and erasers. This helps us reduce the cost and use of paper too! In addition, the math manipulatives are so helpful for those striving students who are still in the pictorial stage of learning math.

  • Help Fill Hungry Bellies!

    With your generous donation, I am able to share snacks with a group of students who stay after school for tutoring. This helps them get through an extra 2 hours of school. This time is vital for their learning to catch up with their grade level peers and help close their learning gap. Being at a title I school, it seems wrong to ask parents to send students with extra snack that will last until the end of the school day. With these snacks housed in my classroom, I am able to offer snacks to extended students who are in need too.

  • Backpack Rack Clears Clutter

    Funded Nov 24, 2023

    This backpack rack helps our classroom tremendously with giving students a space to put their important things. This helps us keep out things organized. In addition to organization, this helped clear the space in my classroom. My students now know where their things are and can access them easily!

    As you can see in the pictures I am now able to block my open windows with my cubbies which makes me feel safer in the classroom.
