When Your Necessities Are Met, You Show Up for Yourself!

On behalf of Dogwood Middle School, I would like to send out my sincerest thank you for the supplies sent to support our middle school scholars. Dogwood is known for having a diverse population of students from all parts of the city, which allows the school staff to work with a variety of populations and family dynamics. Our students pride themselves on reaching out to staff when they need supplies or just to have a staff member to talk with regarding school and at-home issues.

Items were compiled into a list to support the needs of our scholars during the academic day. As a result of your generosity, all of our items were fully funded. A significant number of our families struggle with meeting the needs of their children. Dogwood Middle School has been able to get students connected with in-school services like CIS, RBHA, or outside resources to better support our families in and out of the school setting. With the assistance of these resources and the donated items, we have been able to equip our students with better emotional and physical support.

We are humbled by your generosity and thankful for your commitment to our cause. Your support makes a huge impact. With your support, many of our students have been able to acquire hair products, food, sanitary items, and hygiene items.
