  • Working at the Easel

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

Many think of easels as a piece for art. With my small students, I use our easels in so many ways. It allows them to practice letter and number forming. It is said that a student with a vivid imagination is destined to be a reader. I am not sure about that but I push mine to be as creative as possible. I know that having them to write and draw helps them to release. It is also a good point for conversation. The quietest of my class find something to say when she draws. Thank you for making it possible to have easels in our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Williams

  • Enhance Listening Centers

    Funded Dec 21, 2023

Many may not believe it, but having headphones make a huge difference in the interest level of activities when dealing with small children. My students are so excited to have headphones during their screen time that they sit quietly waiting to be called. Then they sit and tend to their own business once directed to start their activity. I love it when they realize that more than one person is on the same screen playing the same game. You can tell by the way that their eyes light up, and they usually gravitate to each other. A bond is made at that moment. Thank you for helping us to get this much needed resource for learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Williams
