  • Winter Warmth

    Although this winter was a mild one in the Midwest we did have several very cold weeks. We were able to provide coats to several children whose families were struggling to obtain basic needs due to job loss, lack of transportation, and families that were not accumulated to the cold environment.

    On one occasion we had a child come to school no dressed for the weather. We were able to allow the child to wear a coat and recess outside and go home warm.
