Help Create a Welcoming Environment for My Mathematicians
Funded May 25, 2024Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. My students LOVE our new resources and have benefited greatly. The engagement in my classroom has increased and students are excited to come to math class. The first day they walked into class after I hung our flags, they began excitedly pointing out their country's flag and talking about where their families are from. We were able to sit on our new carpet and use our new animal counters in order to do a counting collection. Students are now excited to work together and practice skip counting and foundational multiplicative skills using our new counters.
Our magnetic graph chart allows the students to explore arrays and area which has directly supported their understanding of multiplication. They love using the chart to explain their strategies to the group, which has also increased classroom discourse and collaboration. We are so excited to continue using our resources to grow as mathematicians.”

Funded Dec 22, 2023My students were so incredibly excited when we unboxed our new math games and resources! They come to class eager to find out which new game they will learn about, or which of their favorites they will get to play. We have been having so much fun!
The students that I service are students that have struggled with math in a traditional classroom setting. Their excitement around math and learning has greatly increased since engaging with our new math games and materials. The giant foam dice have allowed us to get out of our seats and play games that encourage movement across our room. The Grab and Play math games have been such a fun addition to our center activities. These games have also increased our classroom community and encouraged collaboration. The different math topics ensure that all of my students in grades 1-5 have something that will challenge them and keep them engaged.
Thank you again for your generous contribution to our classroom. Your donation means the world to my students and me!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Smith
