I want to thank you so much for donating to are class! The students had such a great time learning how to weave and creating their own to take home. We learned the history behind weaving and the tools and techniques as well. We started step by step from using the cardboard looms, to getting the yarn started on them. Then the kids where allowed to choose a color yarn to start there weaving. We learned how to tie nots and how to go over and under the yarn to start weaving. They loved that they could change as many colors as they wanted to make it their own. The end product put a smile on there face because they could say they made it them selves. Thank you again for funding this amazing project, and I hope to continue this every year.”
