  • Enhancing Classroom Learning With Visual Aids

    As outlined on my project page, I aimed to provide my students with a quick and accessible reference tool. This year, I introduced a 'Recall Wall,' where they can easily review recently covered topics. Both the creation process and the student engagement with the wall have been rewarding. Just yesterday, I overheard one student remark to another, 'That's really helpful,' which reaffirmed the value of this initiative and the effort and money invested in it. While I wish that anchor charts were more financially accessible, the support I received made it possible to bring them to life. I want to extend my sincere thanks for making this project a reality.”

  • Space for All - Short Throw Projector

    Funded May 21, 2024

    I know that when you donated the expectation was for our classroom to receive a projector, but it was unavailable and I changed classrooms. When that occurred and I didn't need it anymore I thought it was fate. I now had the funds to create a classroom that my students deserved.

    I teach an accelerated course, meaning my students are going at a faster pace. You would think that they would have enough on their hands, but I have some students that are quick to finish their work before the others. I saw this as an opportunity to get different manipulatives that would keep my students busy but secretly encouraged critical thinking. I didn't want to punish them for finishing early with more work and this was the perfect way to do so.

    My students LOVE the puzzles, Legos, magnetic tiles, and more. If anything it has encouraged my students to stay on task so that they have the opportunity to use them.

    I am so eternally grateful.”

  • Unleashing Student Brilliance with Interactive Learning Adventures!

    I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of an HDMI transmitter and speakers for our classroom. They both have made a significant impact on our students' learning experiences.

    With the HDMI transmitter, we can now easily connect different types of devices to our classroom display, opening up a whole world of interactive learning experiences. From watching education videos to exploring virtual field trips, the possibilities have become endless. The addition of speakers has further enhanced the experience, making lessons more immersive and captivating.

    These tools not only enrich their learning experience but have also empowered the students to use technology as a gateway to discovery and innovation.
