  • Eyes Sparkle When New Books Arrive!

  • Pick a Comfy Seat and Read!

    My students were super excited when they entered the library and saw the bean bag chairs and pillows. During the first few weeks, we rotated through all 600 students using the bean bag chairs during their library lessons. Everyone wanted a turn!

    In the following weeks, after students check-out books, they immediately ask if they can read in a bean bag chair. I also have many students who check out the same book and sit in the bean bags to read to each other!

    Lastly, I had teachers stop in the library to mention how much they enjoyed seeing students in the bean bag chairs reading! These chairs added another level of excitement for visiting the library, finding a great book, and sitting in a cozy space to read! Thank you for supporting our students in their reading!”
