• Creative Play With Wooden Figures

• Dry Hands, Warm Heads and Full Hearts!

  I am so grateful for all of the donations I have received for my classroom! I have 21 beautiful students who come from diverse backgrounds and speak 6 different home languages. Minnesota winters can be brutally cold and wet. These gloves, mittens and hats will be necessary to keep them warm and dry all season long.

• Acorn Book Collection

  My students squeaked with excitement every time a package was delivered to our classroom. They anxiously awaited as I opened each package and showed them the cover of the book. They instantly became excited to read these books.

  As I opened each package they saw similarities of the characters from book to book. They wanted to dig into the books as soon as I held them up.

  Although most of my first graders are not reading yet, Acorn Books like the ones I ordered, are a wonderful first step into decoding books, finding known words, connecting with characters and understanding literary texts.”

• Project Fresh Start

  Thank you so much for contributing towards my classroom project! I have been able to create a cozy, calm and aesthetically pleasing place for first graders to learn and grow!

  We have used the brand new whiteboards and nothing is better than clean, white boards to practice our handwriting and self control with circles and lines.

  I use TPT all the time for ideas and projects to enhance my students' learning! The gift cards are so helpful and keep me from spending out of my pocket for my classroom.”

• Multi-Sensory Reading Tools

  Thank you for contributing to my Donors Choose project. My students loved playing the games and doing the activities! When the box arrived the students asked what was inside. I told them that my friends and family ordered things for us to use to help us learn to read! They were so excited! They wanted to rip into each of the boxes and games!

  These tools will help me build my library of multi sensory materials to use as I teach first graders this upcoming school year! I am currently working on creating literacy and math centers to engage learning and provide multi sensory tools to help support all learners.”
