Funded Dec 12, 2023Mahalo nui for these classroom supply. My students appreciated them as they were able to enhance their learning experiences.
They used the metal racks to store their composition books in a neat and organized manner using the masking tape to color code the spines by period. This helped them locate their personal books easier.
They used the plates and forks in the project presentations of their cultural foods they made. The class was able to part take in the delicious project products. The printer ink printed their recipes for these foods and the students were able to create class cook books for their families.”

Funded Jan 31, 2024Mahalo nui for the classroom supply resources. My students had lots of fun learning because of these items.
The picture frames were used to display and honor our monarchy in the classroom. We recognize them on their birthdays and significant event dates. The step ladder allowed us to display their cultural project dolls above the classroom which we used the cardstock paper to make them.
In these classroom activities and lessons my students were able to learn more about the history of Hawaiʻi and their own ancestral family histories. This helped them to build stronger connections to people and place and to strengthen their personal identity.”

Organizational Skills
Funded Feb 1, 2024Mahalo nui for the classroom organizational supply. My classroom is finally more organized after 10+ years. We were able to get rid of the roach infested cardboard boxes and replace them with the clear bins to better protect my students curriculum resource books. My students did all the work of relocating all these books and labelling them using the clear bins and pens we got from this donation. They were very happy to help with the organization project and to recycle the old paper boxes.
My classroom is much more cleaner looking now. With the clear bins we are able to see what we need more quickly. The bins fit perfectly on the shelves we have and they look more uniformed on the shelf. I know my students learned more organizational and life skills in this process.”

Ms. Yasak
Artistic and Healthy Kaiapuni Learning
Funded Feb 18, 2024Mahalo nui for the classroom resources. These resources have added so much joy to my students. They have shared their gratitude for the many opportunities these supplies have added to their participation in our communities entering in poster art contests and going on field trips.
My students were able to enter in a poster art contest again this year. They used the rolls of poster art paper, color pencils and scissors for this. The painters tape allowed us to post them on the walls of the classroom afterwards. One of my students won second place in the statewide poster art contest.
My students were also able to enjoy snack time during a field trip to our school home town. They walked there from school and stopped to enjoy the juice and chips to regain their energy to continue on their next activities. They were so happy to have free snacks.”
