  • Fostering Play Based Learning

    Thank you so much for contributing to this project! My students love every item! They especially love fishing for letters with the new fishing rods. Students can fish for lower case letters and match them to their uppercase letter. They can also work on letter sounds and making CVC words. They also love playing house and families with the new dolls and bottles. I have seen students use empathy and care when playing with dolls and making a family. The new pots, pans, and food have been utilized in our play kitchen. The kids love making meals together. I am grateful for all of the kind and generous donations that are helping my classroom to be a warm and engaging place to be! Thank you!”

  • Bright and Cheery Organization!

    Thank you so much for donating to my classroom. Students have loved having a new organizational system in our classroom. Students love the bright and cheerful colors! The new bins have allowed me to "color code" my classroom. Each table group has materials that are "their" color. This helps to ensure that all students know which materials are theirs and also helps them with cleaning up when they are done. The bright color coded system helps to foster independence and confidence in the classroom. Aside from organization, the bright colors have helped to brighten up my classroom and make it a happier place to learn. Thank you so much for your help!”

  • Engaging Learning Centers With a New Laminator!

    Funded Jan 12, 2024

    I am so grateful for my new laminator and supplies! I have been able to create so many engaging, meaningful, hands-on centers for my students to use and learn. I have laminated and created centers and stations focusing on letter recognition, number recognition, letter games, number games, puzzles, matching games, the list goes on and on!

    Students have been busy working with partners and independently to master early literacy and number skills. They can use dry erase markers, playdough and other materials on our newly laminated work stations and centers. Students have loved using their personalized name mats with playdough and dry erase markers. The have gained so much confidence in their reading and writing skills by being able to write , trace, and manipulate, letters, words, and numbers on our new stations and centers.
