A Focus on Literacy
Funded Mar 15, 2025Thank you for your generosity, and kindness. My students and I are utilizing and enjoying our new resources that you graciously donated. We have been learning Greek and Latin roots, with the new curriculum books we received from your donation. The kids enjoy the interactive activities that allow them to connect with their peers, and gain new knowledge about vocabulary.
In addition, the students were really happy to see the new maps we received from our donations. We have been learning about world war two and the Holocaust, so the maps of the world, and Europe have been very helpful. Students enjoy reading the maps, and understanding the Geography of Europe.
I want to continue to build my students' knowledge of geography and Greek and Latin roots, by continuing to utilize the maps and the curriculum books.”

Funded Oct 15, 2024Thank you so much for your donation and contributions to our classroom. My students said they felt very appreciated and loved when they learned it was people from across the country donating to help make their classroom a place they truly enjoy.
My students are really enjoying their new vinyl floor chairs. We now have two extra spots in the corners for students to enjoy! In addition, we really appreciate the vacuum which has allowed us to keep our rugs and furniture clean. Students have earned community service as they have volunteered to help keep our classroom a clean and welcoming place. When my students first saw the new chairs, and vacuum, they were really excited. Thank you for putting a smile on their faces.
Your generosity, and kindness is truly appreciated.”

Funded Feb 16, 2024Thank you so much for these amazing carpets that my students love and enjoy so much. When they saw the rugs they were amused and happy! They really appreciate how soft and colorful the carpets are. Students really appreciate the alternative seating option, and how they can relax, work, and be productive! The next steps to add this class project would be big plush pillows and more graphic novels for the classroom library. Thank you so much for your contributions, especially during this difficult time on Maui. We truly appreciate your support!”

Funded Nov 3, 2023Thank you so much again for your help. My students are enjoying the floor furniture and board games! When they first saw the furniture, they smiled and were surprised. A few asked if they could use it right away. They said they really like having choices of different types of furniture to use in the classroom.
My next steps for this project are to collect different types of furniture. Perhaps a couch, or bean bags. Thanks again for help making this project happen!
