Relaxation Station

Once again I would like to thank each and every one of you for your generous donations. My students and I greatly appreciate it! When all the pieces were together students were amazed and could not believe that this was part of their classroom. The excitement and glow on their faces was extremely gratifying. Of course, they couldn't wait to utilize the space. Staff and students from other classrooms came in to see what all the rave was about. Everyone has been saying how beautiful and relaxing it looks.

We have been able to use our relaxation station for many other purposes. Of course, relaxing when feeling stressed or just needing a time out from work is the main purpose. However, students are using the station to complete independent work on their Ipads, or when the choose a book from the library and want to read away from the rest of the class. All students are able to enjoy the station when I rotate small groups for read aloud and discussions. It also serves as a behavior incentive. We are enjoying and will continue to enjoy or station for the rest of the school year. Thank you all.”
