Ecosystem Growing Project to Bring Our Classroom to Life
Funded Oct 22, 2024On behalf of the students at Lincoln High School, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous support in establishing and maintaining our classroom growing projects. Your contribution has had a profound and positive impact on our students' lives.
Before the growing projects, many of our students lacked opportunities to connect with nature and learn about the importance of healthy eating. Thanks to your support, they are now actively engaged in growing their own food, learning about science and environmental stewardship, and developing essential life skills like teamwork and responsibility.
We have witnessed firsthand how the garden has:
Increased student engagement in learning: Students are more eager to come to school and participate in class when they have the opportunity to work on the project.
Improved student health and well-being: Access to fresh produce could encourage healthier eating habits, and the physical activity involved in gardening has promoted a more active lifestyle.
Your support has not only provided our students with valuable learning experiences but has also helped to create a more vibrant and nurturing learning environment. We are truly grateful for your generosity and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our students.
Thank you again for your unwavering support.”
With gratitude,
Mr. O'Neill
