  • Fun Reading Supplies

    Funded May 7, 2024

    I would like to extend my heart felt gratitude for your contribution towards my project "Fun Reading Supplies. The binder folders I received were used to make individual reading booklets for each student. These folders are used during our reading block to help the students build stamina. The reading passages in these folders are at varying level thus each child can find a passage they can comfortably read and they can also challenge themselves with harder passages.

    The students were extremely excited when they saw their reading folders and take home folders. Once they are finished with assignment they can read from their folders to build their reading skills.

  • Success In Second Grade!

    I would like to express sincere gratitude for the contribution that my class has received from you our donors and the Donors Choose team towards the completion of this project- Success in Second Grade. The materials have impacted the students greatly. They were extremely excited when they saw the materials arriving for them to utilize.

    The donation of the headphones have afforded the students the opportunity to complete assignments given on their i-pods with little to no distractions. The other materials like the pencils, erasers, crayons and colored paper aids in the students being able to complete work given in a timely and creative manner.
