I teach an elementary self-contained adaptive curriculum classroom. I have a group of 8 wonderful students who function on lower levels and require individual modifications for both academics and life skills. Although some of my students live with hidden disorders, they struggle with all areas of life. These students will lack the functioning skills needed to be independent with their living and the ability to earn a living. They all learn best with hands-on learning incorporated with all academic skills.
