  • Integrating More Joy in the Classroom Through the Arts!

    My students were THRILLED when our project was fully funded. This project brought my students brand new art supplies, and the most important item, desk pets! The kids had so much fun working towards earning a desk pet and then later on creating a home for them. Kids were able to purchase add-ons like food and "decor". This incentive boosted attendance and overall classroom behavior. As a teacher, there is nothing more fulfilling than prepping hard for a lesson, and then seeing it come to fruition with great success. Thank you for making this possible for my kids. I am so grateful.”

  • First Graders Are So Creative!

    Thank you so much for donating to my project. My kids were so excited when we started receiving packages! To start, the fan has been a great help because my school does not have AC. Your contribution has helped make my classroom less like a sauna, and more like a spa. (A spa filled with crayons and mice, but a spa nonetheless!) The kids love the essential oil diffuser, and I think it has made these kiddos less hyper. So, thank you.

    We picked up some new desk pet accessories with your donation, and the kids are LOVING THEM! I hope you love the pictures and feel the smiles from across the screen.

  • Fun Friday: Food, Fidgets, and Friendship!

    Wow! This was my first time creating a project on Donorschoose, and I am floored by the amount of love and support my classroom has received from this community.

    When I received my first shipment, my kids were amazed. It was a fun community building moment, opening the boxes together. With every package came a loud "Hooray!" as we opened every item together.

    Thanks to your generous donations, my classroom now has a lamp that illuminates my classroom, prizes that encourage my students to keep going, and sensory toys to help students destress!
