iPad to Access, Assess, Learn, and Build Communication Skills!!

I can't thank you enough for pouring your support and resources into this project. My students and I have greatly benefited from your compassion and generosity. There were some bumps in the road initially, however. For example, the iPad originally ordered was delivered with a malfunction that required me to return it. When I tried getting the same device there were no more in stock. We had to downgrade to an older style iPad, which meant getting different device cases. The change in device and cases opened the budget allowing me to order much needed cleaning supplies, art supplies, and therapy tools. Your funds afforded us way more than technology in the long run!!

The iPad has not only been a fun and motivating factor for students learning speech and language skills, it has helped me organize and collect data through a variety of apps. When students are learning and practicing how to make speech sounds they have more visual representations and imagery to look at---making it fun for them! My 3k, Pre-K, and Kindergartners have been having thee most fun with the device!!!!

All in all, we are all (3k-8th grsders) having fun while learning, keeping our learning space clean, and making decorations for our learning space---ALL thanks to your generosity.”
