  • Building Minds, One Book at a Time

    Thanks to your help I was able to give my students new, relevant, and diverse literature! In our morning warm-up we often have students pick out books and read for the first 15-20 minutes of class. Thanks to the new books, students read more broadly and more intensely during these morning warm-ups!

    We were also able recommend books for students from our personal library without having to have students walk all the way down to the library and take up valuable class time. Additionally, students were able to follow up and read the full novel version of an essay that we read in class. These books truly helped out students to broaden their vocabulary, critical thinking skills, and understanding of diverse perspectives.
