• Snacks, Snacks, Snacks

  Thank you so much for these kind donations! My students have always look forward to snack time and it breaks my heart when people aren't able to participate. These donated snack to make sure all of my kids get a fair shot at snacktime and they are so excited for that.

  I started explaining to them with our new school year about these generous donors, and they are so very excited for all the possibilities. We can't thank you enough for allowing this to happen for our class and taking care of my first graders!”

• Pencils and Erasers

  Thank you so much for helping us! School supplies are so important. But with my students being at such a young age, we're still learning how to take care of our school supplies and our tools. I worked very hard to make sure the students know that these are tools not toys. But somehow by mid year, everything always goes missing.

  Being able to have donors choose help us restock our school supplies takes the pressure off of their families to send in more. Not everyone can always afford to do this. Thank you again for thinking of us. We always appreciate it.”

• Keeping it Colorful!

  We want to thank you so much for donating these to our classroom. Crayons are an essential item for first graders. But at so many points in the year we're still learning how to take care of our supplies. So many students will lose them or they will break. And then they cannot complete their assignments because they don't have all of the colors.

  Being able to give each student a fresh set of crayons takes the load off of their parents. Not everyone is always able to send in school supplies. This just makes everyone's life so much easier of me greatly appreciate you helping us.”

• Snack Attack

  Thank you so much for your kind donations! My students were thrilled to have a full snack bin. We start school so early that snack time is needed to keep the kids motivated during the day. But we are a Title I school so not everyone is able to partake and bring their own snacks in so kids end up going hungry.

  I love having something available that everyone is able to partake in. The kids get so excited having different fun options for snack time every day. They also love learning about these mysterious donors who are so kind to think of them!”

• Flowers for Moms

  Funded Apr 30, 2024

  Thank you so much for supporting my first graders! We had so much fun completing this science project which culminated in a Mother's Day gift. Each student was able to have their own flower pot. They got to paint it as they wished and then we added the dirt together. We planted the marigold seeds and watered them daily. Then we got to monitor their growth daily. It took about a week to see some sprouts but they were SO excited when it finally happened.

  The moms of our first graders were thrilled and touched when they took home their finished gifts!”

• Fitness in First

  Thank you so much for supporting physical education in our classroom! We have been starting each morning with a workout and it makes my students so happy. These will give us the opportunity to mix it up and make it more challenging and fun for my kids! We thank you so much!”

• Pencils, and Markers, and Ink, Oh My!

  Thank you so much for donating the supplies to our classroom! Because we have a full stock of classroom supplies like such as pencils and markers. My students are able to complete their assignments and not have to worry. we can use our pencils for math and literacy. They love using the expo markers for math. This allows us to practice our math skills and to correct if need be.

  Somehow, in first grade, we go through supplies very quickly. Mid year restock is always necessary. This took some of the stress off of the families and allowed us to have what we needed.

• Rug Time In First Grade

  THANK YOU so much for helping us to fund this project. Not only having a rug but having a rug with assigned spaces is a game changer in my classroom. We use the rug all day long in multiple subjects.

  Students sit on the rug for videos and read alouds. We use it in math and writing for students who have trouble seeing the board.

  They like to use it for recreational time as well. They will sit or lounge with a book or their laptops and do work as a change of scenery from their seats.
