  • Help My Students Manage Their Emotions

    Funded Jan 29, 2025

There are not enough words to express my joy, gratitude, and thanks for your generous donations to my class project. These resources promote self-regulation, enabling students to return to their learning environment ready to engage. The sensory tools can be used by students during instruction time to keep their hands busy and help them regulate themselves to focus and be more interactive during the learning process when they return to class. By providing them with the tools they need to thrive emotionally and academically, we’re investing in their bright futures and supporting their journey to becoming compassionate, well-rounded individuals”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Emily

  • Therapeutic Counseling Office Essentials for Students

    Funded Jan 29, 2025

I do not have the words to express my gratitude for your support for this project. The supplies that you are providing for my students will allow us to teach/reinforce good hygiene habits that will help the students and their families now and in the future. Access to hygiene products can make a significant difference in a student's daily life, ensuring they feel confident, comfortable, and ready to focus on their education. Good habits help promote good health, which in-turn promotes regular school attendance. Regular school attendance can change the students' lives.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Emily

  • Supplies for Cold & Flu season

My students and I are so grateful and would like to Thank you for your generous donation to supply our therapeutic counselor's office & emotionally impaired classrooms with supplies such as hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes and sprays for the cold and flu season.”

  • Prizes for a Job Well Done

    Funded Jan 4, 2024

My students and I would like to Thank you for your generous donation to our project for prizes for a job well done. Your donation has made a significant difference and a positive impact for the students that I work with in substantially separate classrooms with emotional impairments. Many of our students come to school on an empty stomach due to their families struggling with food insecurity.

Research demonstrates that students who are at risk for hunger are more likely to have attention and behavioral issues and less likely to perform well in school. These snacks have been used in between breakfast and lunch to help them stay energized, focused, and on task during instruction time and during therapeutic groups. These prizes have helped my students stay focused, engaged, and motivated during their social emotional learning groups and lessons throughout the school week.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Emily

  • Help Me Set Up a Welcoming Calming & Healing Office

    Funded Dec 31, 2023

My students and I would like to give a huge shoutout and Thank you for your generous donation to my project "Help me set up a calming & healing office". Your donation has made a significant difference and a positive impact for the students that I work with in substantially separate classrooms with emotional impairments.

Many of our students visit our therapeutic office for safe space to talk, figure out their emotions, decompress, relax, and reset to get through their school day with sensory toys, boardgames, card games, STEM activities, coloring, and arts and crafts. Your donation has helped me set up a calming environment with resources to help them stay grounded and in control of their feelings throughout their school day.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Emily
