  • Exploring the Solar System

    Funded Oct 6, 2023

    Thank you so much for funding the solar system project! The students were able to see how the planets orbit the sun and their distance from the sun! It was a great way for them to cement their understanding with a 3d mechanical visual.

    This help pivot to their understanding and engagement to create their solar system diorama in small groups! The students were highly engaged and it helped to review the order of the planets and what characteristics represent them!

    The students felt very proud of their work and it helped to conclude their solar system unit with a physical end product that is now hanging over their group table!

    So thankful for this opportunity to make this unit so real for them!”
