  • Feeding Teens

    When I hear, "Ms. I can't focus, I'm hungry", my heart cries. Unfortunately, I can't fund snacks always on my own, but with Donor's choose I have been able to help each and everyone of my kids. They are able to focus better in their classes because they are not worrying about those hunger pains in between classes. There is nothing more uncomfortable than being in a silent classroom and hearing your stomach growling as the minutes go by, it is truly painful.

    With these nutritious snacks, my kids are able to get a boost of energy that helps them refocus with their classes. They are moving towards success all because of we can keep their bellies full during the day. I am extremely grateful and humbled by the donations and assistance you all have given us. We are eternally grateful for all the donations that have helped this wonderful group of growing teens. Thank you.”

  • Snacks for Scholars

    First I want to say we are beyond grateful for this wonderful donation. We are using our new resources daily. Students come in during period changes to get snacks to keep them energized for the next classes. We are also using our snacks during after school tutoring classes. This serves us as both a motivator to stay for tutoring and also to have something in their bellies while they continue learning even after school hours. We are also using our snacks during Saturday Academy, students who need extra time with assignments or more individualized help from teachers come in on Saturdays to get that extra assistance. We gladly give out healthy snacks to support our growing teens throughout the day and help them concentrate on assignments and not on grumbling bellies.

    When our teens saw the boxes of different snacks they were amazed and ecstatic! They were overwhelmed with gratitude when they saw how many people donated and because of their generosity they have been gifted so many wonderful healthy snacks. They are not used to this type of donations and they were just simply over the moon. They were very grateful and just couldn't thank our donors enough. We are truly lucky to be part of this experience.”
