Learning is Fun in Pre-K!
Funded Mar 26, 2025I am truly so appreciative of your support towards our classroom. Everyday when I come to work, I hope to create meaningful and educational learning experiences for my students. Unfortunately, accessing hands-on materials is not always easy. However, thanks to your generous donation, my students now have materials available for them to manipulate, explore and engage with. This is critical in a Pre-K special education classroom as many of my students rely on hands on materials to learn. Having these materials has not only enhanced their learning but has allowed them to further explore concepts in depth. Your continued support of teachers and special education students means so much to me. Thank you!”

Funded Jan 15, 2025Thank you so much for your thoughtful contribution to our classroom. Your support means so much to me and our students. Since the addition to these two chairs as flexible seating options, I have noticed an increase in my students ability to self regulate and even make choices. With various seating options during our circle time, they can now choose which seating option they prefer. Their ability to choose preferred options throughout the day allows my students to become better self advocates. Thank you for your continued support to my classroom and teachers alike!”

Funded Aug 26, 2024Thank you so much for your thoughtful and generous donations! My class has loved using this felt board during our story time and sing alongs. With the felt pieces, they are able to come up to the board to reenact the story or song we are targeting. They have been able to visualize and conceptualize numbers, characters, letters and setting with these felt pieces. Working in special education, this is a vital concept in regards to learning. Thank you for your continued support of our classroom and projects!”

IPad for On-the-spot Documentation of Pre-K Learners
Funded Nov 29, 2023I truly cannot thank you enough for donating towards this project for my class. This year our school has adopted a new curriculum that requires on the spot documentation. Documentation is so crucial as a teacher. Teaching special need students can be challenging to show growth and success as many of my students are non verbal. With this IPad, I am able to have quick access when my students do amazing things. I can record, take pictures and quickly upload any progress noted towards a goal or standard. With these updates, it will help guide my goals, lessons and assessments per student.
Thank you so much for taking the time to donate. It truly means so much to me. Have a happy and healthy New Year!”

Funded Dec 14, 2023Circle time is such a crucial aspect to a Pre-K classroom. Here, on the rug, is where we all join together to learn, share and get to know one another. Having a welcoming, clean classroom rug is extremely inviting to students and makes them feel comfortable to join me and their classmates together. The individual circles on this high contrast rug, helps my students visualize where they need to be seated. Teaching students with special needs, this takes time. This rug truly helps this process. Thank you so much for your thoughtful donation to our classroom!”

Funded Oct 8, 2023Wow! We have had this writing desk for one full week and already I find my student's gravitating towards it. At this desk, I have seen their amazing little minds at work. They have created drawings, writings and beautiful creations.
Students with special needs find beauty in things one may not see or notice. Here, at this desk, I have the privilege of guiding and facilitating their beautiful minds into focused pieces. Together we work on what we will be writing about and how that relates to our lesson.
Within these weeks, I have noticed an increase in my students receptive and expressive abilities. They are able to sit and work individually or with a peer. Socialization is a struggle for my special needs students, so seeing them gravitate towards this desk with a friend is incredible.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you so much for contributing to this project and helping my students surpass expectations.”

Ms. Katelynn Morgan
