An Enhanced Dollhouse Center

My learners were so excited when they saw the new dolls and furniture. It was such a great teaching moment when we discuss how we should handle our new materials so others can play with it.

Everyday during our choice time, more students would pick to play in the dollhouse before other centers in the class. They are able to use that to build up their vocabulary and their socialization skill by sharing and playing cooperatively. They were able to pretend play that they were the character in the dollhouse.
