    ,

Thank you so much for taking your time to read about my project and look after my students, their learning, and their social emotional well being. I believe that is one of the biggest reasons why students stay in school because they see and notice that they have adults that care for them. Thank you once again, please be sure that my students are equally grateful for all the donations you provide us with. Have a blessed day!"”

  • Breakfast Booster for Newcomer Students

    Funded Jan 1, 2025

My students and I have been delighted with all the new water bottles we received and all the breakfast donated to us. One of the main reasons why my students feel tired and sleepy in the mornings in my class is because they skip breakfast at home. The school cafeteria offers mostly cold food for students in the morning and milk. I allow my students to collect a milk when they are hungry so that then I can supply them with a cereal of their choice. Ever since I started doing so my students have been attending my class everyday and on time so they can not miss out on a cereal breakfast when they are in an empty stomach.

When my students first saw the materials, they could not believe it because they were in great need of water bottles that are reusable and that they can carry with them everywhere. I wanted to do more for them and give away stickers so they could decorate their bottles and not lose them. It was incredible to see how each and everyone of them personalized their water bottle and made it their own way so that way they are more responsible of it and not lose it.”

  • Growing Literacy Stars!

    Funded Nov 26, 2024

My students and I are using the new resources because we officially have a working digital wall clock so my students do not have to be waiting for me to tell them the time. It works best for myself and for them as well. We also have been using the CVC word builder resource and my students are getting in the practice with they phonics workbook packets. I have seen my students working really hard using the new materials that we received and also wanting to explore more of what can help us in our classroom.

Overall we were really excited when we saw the packages arrived. They were wondering what we were getting this time.”

    With gratitude,

  • Full Bellies, Full Potential

    Funded Sep 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations. My students have been more present in class and in school in general. My students are less hungry and feel more motivated to do their work if they know that their hard work will promote more snacks for them and everyone else who is hungry because they do not have a full breakfast like they deserve and should be having. My students look forward to eating some pop-tart bites, a rice krispies.

My students couldn't believe their eyes when they saw me carrying the packages with the snacks inside. It was an amazing moment I wish to relive. That is why we are all super thankful with your contribution. Without you, our students would still be greatly in need. Thank you!”

  • Healthy Water for Our Students

    Funded Sep 6, 2024

My students and I have used the donations provided to us everyday and it has impacted all of my students positively. In my class they have the freedom to drink water and eat their snacks, breakfast, and lunch whenever they like. My students take turns filling up our gallon of water bottle in the school's water dispenser. They have also learned to charge the electric water bottle pump for when the battery has died. In all of my classes, especially after lunchtime my students come in very thirsty and are glad that they are just a couple of steps away from our own classroom water dispenser that is mess free. This has been very useful for my students who used to cause many spills and miss time from class to go drink water from the hallway.

This has taught my students the skills of responsibility and cleanliness because they have learned to clean up after themselves and be responsible for any possible spills. When my students first saw the materials they were really excited because they would learn to play new sports to them like tennis and volleyball. We cannot wait to go on a field trip to set up our volleyball net at a field area and spend time playing together. That motivates them to keep working hard, showing up to school and on time so that I can keep posting more donation projects that I am sure my students feel completely blessed for. Our fan has helped us all through the summer and now in the winter that our classroom can feel a little too warm due to the heater being on.”

  • Incentives for Attendance!

    Funded Sep 17, 2024

My students and I have used the donations provided to us everyday and it has impacted all of my students positively. I implemented the snacks for attendance method and it has been working because my students have repeatedly told me that they attend school more regularly due to the fact that they look forward to my class. In my class they have the freedom to drink water and eat their snacks, breakfast, and lunch whenever they like.

This has taught my students the skills of responsibility and cleanliness because they have learned to clean up after themselves and be responsible for any trash. They are great multitaskers and have learned to be mindful about completing their assignments while eating. When my students first saw the materials they were really excited. That motivates them to keep working hard, showing up to school and on time so that I can keep posting more donation projects that I am sure my students feel completely blessed for.”
