Food for Thought
Funded May 29, 2024Warm greetings! Food For Thought made a great impact on the learning performance of my students. Food is always a positive reinforcement to my students, especially during afternoon session. They are more engaged in their activities knowing that a snack will be provided during break time. Their social skills also improved as they learn to clean up after eating. As food brings nourishments and sustenance, my students are always actively engaged in their works.
When they first saw the boxes of cookies, juice, and oatmeal bars they were so ecstatic. It is always a source of motivation to come to the SpEd classroom knowing that a variety of snacks will be provided after accomplishing their tasks. Every time snacks are served, a big smile break into their faces, and they are tremendously grateful for every snack they received. To all the Donors, on behalf of my students, THANK YOU! Your gestures of kindness continuously create a meaningful learning experiences in their young lives.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Nesa
Amazing Reading!
Funded Nov 12, 2023On behalf of our children I would like to say THANK YOU very much for sharing your resources with them through your support in our project Amazing Reading.
The resources helped the students worked independently. Initially I showed them how the resources are used during their reading interventions. After a series of activities, they do it by themselves. They read the materials independently during their reading aloud activity. The students were very happy to receive the supplies and they were very excited to use the supplies immediately.
The materials are user friendly and colourful which are very appropriate to the needs of the students. In using the resources, the reading readiness of my students are progressing since they are not intimated in the resources. Instead, these materials continuously motivate the students to do their reading fluency.
The next step would be to get the best of my students to be more proactive in learning. This can be done by making their learning activity engaging, creative and fun. This is my next project "Making Learning Fun".”
With gratitude,
Ms. Nesa
