Please Ink About Us! 😊
Funded Nov 1, 2024Thank you for your contribution to my classroom. Through Donors Choose, you contributed to purchasing ink and paper for the laser printer in my classroom. Your generosity helps me to support my students' learning in many ways.
Having access to supplies for my printer gives me the opportunity to create learning materials to differentiate instruction for my learners with special needs. I typically do this during lesson planning, for instance creating organizers, checklists, or notes pages for my students. Other times, I notice a student needs an additional support as I'm delivering small group instruction, and can print a modification as needed right then and there. This is immensely helpful to me in meeting the needs of my diverse learners. Additionally, I use colored paper to create games, learning stations, bookmarks, and signage for the classroom that supports learning. Some examples include conversations stems for class discussions, engaging vocabulary games, and homework checklists.
Last but not least, the public school I work in lacks the resources and access to technology that schools in wealthier districts take for granted. Your gift benefits my classes, but also by extension our entire school community.”

Lovely Ink!
Funded Oct 12, 2023I am writing to thank you for your recent and very generous contribution to my classroom. Through Donors Choose, you contributed to purchasing a laser printer and ink for my classroom. This gift will have a lasting impact on my students' learning for years to come.
Many of my students come from households where they do not have access to computers and printers. When they need to print out a project for school, they must rely on local (and expensive!) copy shops, or the public library, which is closed on Sundays. My students now are able to save time, money, and stress by printing right here in the classroom — and they've shared that this is "game changing."
