• Technology Needed For Digital Artwork Lessons

  My students were very excited when we received our digital pen tablet. I was able to use it immediately to demonstrate the lesson we were working on that week. This technology will be a valuable teaching tool for many years to come. As you know, today's students demand more and more hands-on teaching and technology interaction to become fully engaged in the learning process. I know this digital pen tablet will keep them interested and also make teaching much easier for me - no more hoping there's ink in the dry-erase markers! I can just turn on the tablet, set up the projector, and teach a drawing lesson to the class on the big screen. • Drama Students Need Video Camera

  Funded Feb 6, 2009

  I just want to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your contributions to my project. My drama students have already begun using the video camera you donated to our class, and they are very excited to know they will be able to film and watch their performances. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to watch them light up with excitement whenever we have one of our projects funded.

  We have used the camera for a few schoolwide events as well, and I have been able to make DVDs of these events for the students involved. This truly does make education meaningful to them, and it gives them hands-on experience and interaction with the lessons, as well as instilling a since of pride - they can't wait to watch our movies with the class!
