Calculators, Compasses, Globes... Oh My!

Thank you so much for donating to help the students in my classroom this year! Many of my students cannot afford to buy their own calculator, so it has been great having a couple of extra calculators that students can use in the classroom. Students are able to be hands on in class with the calculators and compasses. I was able to let one of my students check one of the calculators out for the whole year to use since she does not have her own. My students love doing and solving problems where they are engaged and can apply the problems to their lives outside of the classroom. They need to be able to type in the problems in the calculator themselves, so they know how to use a graphing calculator. The batteries have also been helpful for when my other calculators need the batteries replaced. My classes, especially AP Statistics, need the graphing calculators to solve problems.
