  • Stay Fresh All Day!

    Funded Sep 1, 2024

I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your incredibly thoughtful and generous donation that has helped provide essential hygiene supplies for my students. Thanks to you, we were able to purchase items like toothbrushes, deodorant, body and face wipes, and feminine products — resources that many of my students would not have access to otherwise.

Working in a Title I school, where over half of our students live under the poverty threshold, I've seen firsthand how difficult it can be for students to focus on their studies when they are worried about something as basic as their personal hygiene. Your contribution has made it possible for my students to have access to these items, which allows them to feel more confident and ready to learn, without the need to ask or feel embarrassed.

Since receiving these supplies, my students have been able to approach their day with a sense of dignity and self-assurance. It's hard to overstate how much it means to them to have access to these necessities when they need them. This helps my students feel more confident and comfortable interacting with their peers. It's moments like these that remind me how truly transformative this support has been.

The positive impact has been immediate, but the ripple effect is long-lasting. By providing my students with the basic tools they need to take care of themselves, you've created an environment where they can focus on their education, build self-esteem, and feel empowered. These supplies are not just physical items — they are symbols of care and respect, and they are allowing my students to feel like they belong, just as they are.

Thank you again for making this possible. Your generosity has not only impacted my students' daily lives but has also shown them that there are people who care deeply about their well-being and success. We are incredibly grateful for your support, and we will continue to make the most of these resources to create a nurturing and supportive environment where every student can thrive.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chapman

  • Snacks for Ms. C’s Computing Classes

    Funded Jan 23, 2024

The contributions you made came right on time while we were preparing for testing. It was a great feeling to know I would have some snacks on hand if my students needed it, and as teenagers do, they definitely needed it.

I also had students who were dealing with homelessness and food insecurity who knew they could have a healthy snack whenever they asked for one. Students have enough trouble asking for help when they need it, so this was a way to ease some of that for them.

Thank you again from myself and my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chapman
