Thank you again for the generosity you extended towards our school community! All of the supplies have officially been assembled and are ready for use. I have already seen how the display of fidgets, toys, and children's books are creating a welcoming environment that draws the students in. Their excitement creates easy opportunities for important conversations and lessons on recognizing and managing emotions, an important thing to understand for kids and adults alike!

This year, we will be using the supplies to support the work we do in our individual and group counseling. Additionally, students are able to utilize the room as a coping skill within itself when they are feeling overwhelmed in the classroom. This not only allows them the opportunity to reset, but also teaches them how to calmly communicate their needs to the caregivers and teachers.
