Special Ed Program Reboot!

Thank you for your incredible help with boosting our special ed classroom with resources! The minute our resources arrived we put them to use.

Our students have been using the sensory tools to regulate their nervous systems before or during learning and we have seen much more engagement and calm- which has helped all of our students! The iPads have been SO helpful as we can now support our students in school-based assessments that are too challenging to do independently on the computer (without the touch screen option). We have also been using the iPads as an independent skill booster after they learn new concepts. The students are much more engaged in the interactive activities with bright and interesting visuals--we have seen increased independence in their overall skill knowledge including sight words, reading, number sense, and math problem solving skills.
