  • Headphones for Academic Success

    Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. These headphones have enhanced our learning DAILY.

    Being in an Urban Area, many students lack the resources to get their own materials. Headphones are so important in our classroom to help students listen to texts read aloud, watch science videos, and so much more.

    Without your help, we would not be able to use the text to speech features on our iPads. This feature is so important to my students below grade level.

  • Books, Books, and More Book Series!

    Thank you so much for donating toward our classroom library. Working at an urban area school, my classroom is filled with underprivileged students. Allowing my students the opportunity to read not only just chapter books, but books series, is something many of them do not get the chance to do.

    My students have gained a new appreciation for books and reading. Students now enter my classroom, asking to read, instead of trying to avoid it. Having a more interesting classroom library has improved all of my students reading abilities.

  • The Wizarding World of 5th Grade Reading

    Funded Jan 23, 2024

    These books have been a great addition to our classroom. They have pushed readers to read more fluently while enjoying the book.

    These lessons involve comprehension questions and writing activities. Students are able to craft their own wands, join their own houses, and earn points. Students work together to have better behavior and grades in order to win points for their houses.

    Students work together in groups to group read or answer questions.

    Our entire class has found great joy in reading these books.”
