Creating a Sensory Oasis
Funded Jan 18, 2025We are thrilled to share the profound impact that the sensory liquid-filled tiles have had on our students and classroom environment. From the moment our little learners stepped onto these vibrant tiles, their faces lit up with joy and curiosity. The gentle movements of the liquid captivated their attention, creating an immediate sense of wonder. One memorable moment was during a group activity where students took turns exploring the tiles while sharing their feelings about different colors and movements. This not only fostered communication and social skills but also encouraged them to express their emotions in a safe space.
Since integrating the sensory tiles into our daily routine, we have observed remarkable changes in our students' engagement and focus. During lessons, the calming effect of the tiles has helped soothe anxious minds, allowing students to concentrate better on their work. For instance, during a recent math lesson, students used the tiles as a tactile tool to count and explore patterns, seamlessly integrating sensory play with academic learning. The tiles have also become a go-to area for students needing a moment to regroup, providing them with a therapeutic outlet to recharge before returning to their tasks.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue incorporating the sensory tiles into our lessons. Our next project involves using the tiles to explore concepts of movement and flow in science, where students will observe how the liquid reacts to their movements. This will not only deepen their understanding of physical properties but also encourage collaborative learning as they work together to create patterns and designs. Thanks to your generous contributions, we are able to create an inclusive and engaging classroom that supports our students' unique developmental needs. We are truly grateful for your support in making this sensory oasis a reality!”

Attracting Success: Magna-Tiles Magnetize Learning for Special Ed Students!
Funded Jun 17, 2024I am writing to exptress my haearfelt gratitude for your generous donation. Your kindness has already made an incredible impact on my students, providing them with an engaging and interactive tool to support their learning.
The students have been absolutely thrilled to explore the endless possibilities that the MagnaTiles offer. They especially love the Sesame Street and Very Hungry Caterpillar tiles. They are using them to build, create, and problem-solve in ways that spark their creativity and curiousity. These hands-on exeriences are helping to reinforce important concepts in math, science, and eigineering, as well as kindness and sharing.
In our self-contained classroom, having such versitile and inclusive learning materials is essential. The MagnaTiles allow my students to practice fine motor skills, and engage in multisensory play.
Thank you once again for your thoughtfulness and support. Your donation is making a really wonderful difference, and my students and I are truly grateful.”

Help 1-2 G Soar!
Funded Jan 10, 2024I am incredibly grateful for your generous support in providing our classroom with essential learning tools. Your contribution of Lego sets, sensory tools, chair balls, social-emotional books, and pop it toys has made a significant difference in the lives of our 1st and 2nd-grade students, particularly those navigating special education in a low-income setting.
Thanks to your kindness, our students now have access to resources that enhance their learning experience and support their individual needs. The Lego set sparks creativity and imagination, while the sensory tools offer much-needed movement breaks for those who require them. The chair balls provide the movement necessary for some students to concentrate effectively.
Moreover, the social-emotional books and toys, and pop it toys in our literacy center offer valuable opportunities for emotional development and literacy growth. Your generosity has not only enriched our classroom environment but has also empowered our students to thrive academically and emotionally.
On behalf of myself and my students, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and belief in our mission. Your support is truly making a difference in the lives of these young learners, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Chill
