A Spanish Magical Carpet Ride

I can't thank you enough for your donations to this project. Students noticed right away and love what it has brought to our classroom. It couldn't have worked out more perfectly with the room set up and decor! We have put the carpet to use every day since it has arrived to the school.

My kindergarten and 1st grade students use it every time they come for specials. Once we sing a song together students come to the carpet to talk to one another in Spanish. They also get their lesson on the carpet and receive instructions for what they have to do when they return to their seats. Students are able to sit more comfortably on the carpet too! My older students use the carpet as an area to work with their classmates as part of flexible seating.

Soon, I will be teaching students the numbers and colors in Spanish. I can see the carpet being a tool to help my students in their learning. It has been a blessing and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for contributing to this project”
