  • Headphones for Kindergarten

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

    My students were incredibly excited to see the new package of headphones arrive to our classroom. They immediately wanted to try them out. Many of them complimented how comfortable they are and I didn't have to remind anyone to plug them in or put them back on.

    Our previous headphones had microphones on them that weren't needed for what we do on the technology. Nearly all the headphones were broken by students chewing on them or from overuse, as we use them daily. My students struggled to focus with all of the noise throughout the room without a class set of working headphones. We also test on the computers and so this difficulty listening was effecting their test scores.

    We are so grateful for the class set of working headphones to promote our academic achievement and build stamina to work independently in preparation for 1st grade. Thank you.”

  • Flexible Seating

    Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. With our new wobble stools, my students are able to safely wiggle at their tables while maintaining focus on the current task. The clipboard organization has made our transitions SO much smoother and makes our classroom less cluttered and overstimulating. My students have also been enjoying our alphabet and number transformers during small group time. I have seen a lot of progress already in letter and number identification as well as formation.

  • Small Group Success!

    Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom. My students are very excited to read the Pete the Cat books to Pete the Cat himself.

    They are also very excited about the new toys to be used during small group time. The lock and key number set will be very useful in building fine motor skills as well as subitizing. The number words are great exposure to new sight words. The alphabot toys are a very engaging way to work on letter identification.

    Providing fun toys during this time in our day makes the time more beneficial as I am able to focus on meeting with students in small groups or 1-1. Thank you again for contributing to our classroom and our academic success.”

  • Light Table Learning

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

    Thank you so much for the light table materials. My students were so excited when they came in and saw the new arrangement of tables with the LED lights. It really added a great vibe to our classroom environment.

    I started by setting it up with the pattern and 10-frame trays with translucent colored chips. I introduced the center by showing a patterning video and we created AB, ABC, and AAB patterns on chart paper. I explained how to properly clean up so we can maintain a clean and safe environment as well as respect the materials in the room. My students took turns in partners during small group time to explore the center.

    They were very engaged in their work. I love their creativity and ambition! I greatly appreciate your donation to our classroom and investment in my students education.”
