Funded Aug 14, 2024I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your generous donation to help purchase supplies for our classroom. Your support means so much to me and my students, and I can't express how grateful we all are. These supplies will go a long way in keeping our classroom organized, productive, and a more enjoyable space to learn in.
With your help, we now have the tools we need to stay on top of our projects, keep our materials tidy, and foster an environment where students can focus on what matters most—learning! The students are already excited to dive into our new supplies, and I can't wait to see how they will help us stay organized and creative throughout the year.
Thank you once again for helping us create a positive and organized learning environment!”

Funded May 10, 2024I would like to send a huge thank you for your generous donation. Thanks to you, our classroom now has a fantastic reading corner with beanbag chairs and a durable, easy-to-clean rug.
The new setup has been a big hit with the kids, especially those who need a bit more flexibility and comfort in their learning space. It's amazing to see how much they love spending time in this cozy nook, diving into their books and enjoying the new environment.
Your support has made a real difference, and we couldn't be more grateful. It's so wonderful to see how much the kids appreciate and benefit from the changes.
Thanks again for making this possible. Your generosity really means a lot to us!”

Happy Feet! Meeting the Sensory Needs of Students with Disabilities
Funded Sep 4, 2024Thank you for your incredible kindness. You have given my classroom a resource that will be used everyday for years to come. These sensory desk bands facilitate self-regulation and will empower students to sustain engagement through movement. Because of you, every single child who learns in my classroom will have their own band. My students and I sincerely thank you!”

Funded Sep 22, 2023Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. My students were overjoyed to learn of the special rewards for their work. I introduced these rewards by creating a reading challenge. For every three books each student reads and completes summaries for, they will receive a prize of their choice. Right away, my students got to work. On the day that our first student achieved this, all the others cheered for him as he selected his prize.
At the end of the first two weeks of the reading challenge, my co-teacher handed me a massive stack of book summaries and joked, "Look what you've done! Have fun grading all of that!" The students that were originally motivated by the prizes started to find more joy in the reading process itself. Students who were previously uninterested are starting to pick up a book before or after class starts just to squeeze in a few more pages. I have also implemented a multi-tiered reading intervention system in the form of "book clubs" which involves small groupings of guided, level-appropriate readings. I find that this, in conjunction with our book challenge, is engaging them on a much deeper level.
As I explained in my project description, reaching goals can look different for every child. For example, I have a student who struggles to write letters. We decided that each day, he will practice writing out the alphabet in both upper and lowercase letters. If he is able to write five letters that are a "perfect match" to the model on a given practice sheet, he will receive a sticker. Prior to the incentives being so generously donated, he would give up on this skill before really even trying, feeling embarrassed that his writing is still developing. Now, he feels so proud when he writes his "perfect match" letters! My students and I are incredibly grateful for your contribution. You have helped to foster a love of learning in our classroom.”
