• Tablet for Digital Drawings and Animations

  Funded Apr 2, 2024

  I would first like to thank everyone involved to decided to help my students in donating a tablet to our school to be used in my classroom. My students like to come in for lunch and work on animations as well as digital drawings and we are excited to extend the opportunity to all students who want to be involved in extracurricular activities including digital drawings.

  I also want to thank you because when the tablet arrived many of my students were thrilled and had a smile on their face and were surprised by the act of kindness. It really goes to show how great the world can be and how generous people are.

  I truly appreciate everything you have done for my students and I cannot wait to continue working on digital drawings in the classroom, during students' lunch period and before and after school. Thank you so much for everything you have done.”

• Art for Our Hallways

  Thanks you so much for all of the materials you have donated to our school! We are so thrilled to receive such a thoughtful, generous and kind gift! My students and I are so happy to be so lucky to have such wonderful materials.

  We are using the new resources to create prints, as well as art for our school. We have finished two prints from the linoleum blocks you have sent to us. We cannot thank you enough.

  My students reacted in a gentle and kind way when receiving the materials. They were truly touched and so am I!”

• Canvases to Paint Mural for School

  Funded Oct 11, 2023

  Students were able to use the new materials immediately and did a wonderful job sketching onto the canvas, then painting the canvas and finally, critiquing their own work based on what they have learned in class. I am using the new resources to assist students with a demonstration project.

  My students first reacted in a very excited and happy way when they first saw the materials! They were thrilled to receive the materials in order to hang their work up in the school.

  The next steps for my students on a current project is going to be using the paint in order to create self portraits.”

• Murals for Our School

  Funded Sep 18, 2023

  My students and I are using the new canvas to beautify our school by creating murals. We are working on a mural of 8 eight canvases that embody the diversity at our school. We are working on different painting techniques.

  The students were happy and excited to work on their new materials. Many of the students had never worked on canvas before so I had to describe what it was and how we will use it.

  My next steps for my students on a current classroom project is to finish the optical illusions that they are currently working on. They are using colored pencil and paper :)
