Attendance Matters

School attendance has declined since the pandemic and slowly we are increasing our school rate. With incentives, emails of encouragement, and connecting to students we have been able to increase our attendance by 6 %. This is higher than the district average and we were able to celebrate our students because of the incentives given by you. Thank you so much.

By providing us, at Venice High School, the opportunity to celebrate our students who are improving their attendance or were on track, we were able to give out 400 cookies and have popcorn for students. They felt appreciated and enjoyed the events. Thank you so much.”
