Help Me Furnish My Classroom.
Funded Dec 31, 2023When we first received the packages, students were excited to open them and discover what was inside. the pockets charts were the main focus. they were wondering what we will do with them. To answer the questions, we had a class discussion to define the use of all the beautiful pocket charts. I had an idea of where and what to use them for but it was great to see the students getting excited about their ideas.
We used the magnet pocket chart for the flow of the day and students were able to notice what to expect during the day. the attendance chart was a focal point. I took a beautiful picture of each of them and added their name on each card. They were ( and still excited) all excited to flip their cards when going home at the end of the day or coming in the morning.
We used one chart for words they can use during their morning writing and one for power words during each reading lesson.
This was a great addition to our classroom environment and organization overall.
We used the bins to separate books in our library into french and english. it's clear for students to see as it's color coded. All red bins are for french books and all blue are for english books. We also use the bins for center times and words bank.”
